So what? Who cares?

In my Unit 2 piece I think that anyone who owns pets or cares about animals would be concerned about this topic of the Humane Society. the so what? part is something I need to investigate further. maybe if I learned more about how the humane society actually functions I could explain why it is important that they are in need of volunteers and more funding. The volunteering would affect the people involved giving them a sense of fulfillment maybe since they lent a hand in something maybe it could help get some community service hours for school. it would directly affect the Humane society in a positive way seeing how they are in need.
