I think it would be worth researching the actual animals that live in the humane society. getting history on maybe one specific dog or cat. I just find some of the stories interesting especially the stories about the animals that have been living in the shelter for a long period of time.Many of them went to foster homes and some owners couldn't keep them for whatever reason, I think that would be interesting to investigate further. I want to know how fostering a pet works and how someone becomes qualified to do so. I am also curious as to how the foster owners decide which pet they want to take or if they even get to chose.
I would also like to find out how this nonprofit organization makes money to maintain the facility and feed the animals.
I could also research what the facility plans on doing to improve
